Covid Vaccine 2nd Dose – Update
As many of you will have seen on the news, the Government have decided to delay the 2nd dose of the Covid vaccination.
This means that those patients who had their 1st dose just before Christmas will now have their 2nd appointment moved to the end of Feb.
Staff at the surgery will be working across the weekend to contact the 1000 patients currently booked in for their 2nd dose on 6th & 7th January. These patients are being moved to 24th & 25th February respectively and appointment times will remain the same.
This will allow for remainder of the over 80’s to be have their 1st vaccination next week and we will be contacting those people over the weekend as well.
Please note that the first group to be vaccinated is ALL over 80’s (this includes those that are over 90 and over 100)
All registered patients will be contacted.
