As the vaccine roll out continues, we are pleased to announce that we have now vaccinated just over 24,500 patients here at the Devereux Centre. This is made up of patients from practices within our Primary Care Network (Mythe Medical, Church Street Doctors, Staunton & Corse Surgery and Newent Doctors Practice)
This equates to 68% of our eligible population, which is slightly higher than the current national average of 61%.
This is an incredible achievement over the last 4 months and we would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers involved.
We would also like to thank our patients for attending their vaccination appointments promptly and in good spirits, and for their continued patience and understanding while we have faced the various hurdles that a vaccination programme on this scale has presented us with.
We have now moved in to the next phase of the programme, with 2nd doses also being administered. For those patients who do not currently have a date for their 2nd appointment, we will be in touch to book you in when you are due.
