We are aware that you are waiting in anticipation to book your Flu vaccination & Covid booster jab before the winter starts.
In previous years the flu delivery has been promised but has not arrived in time and we have had to cancel clinics at very short notice. Therefore, we are not NOT going to book any flu appointments until the vaccine has arrived, we will then invite all those over the age of 65 first and will work our way down to those 50 years age and vulnerable patients as identified by NHS England.
Covid booster jabs will be offered to all patients over the age of 50, those that are in certain clinical risk groups, people that are registered carers and household members of immuno-suppressed patients.
Like last year, we will start with the patients in care homes and will then be working our way down from the oldest first in the cohort groups laid out by NHS England. Will contact you when it is your turn.
We plan to commence both the flu and Covid clinics in October and will be in touch in due course.
